Program Description
If you have completed the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI) occupational coursework or have the required certifications, but no degree and are looking to take the next step in your career, then this is the career path for you. Students who have successfully completed this degree have progressed to supervisor roles, educators, or to bachelor鈥檚 degrees in emergency management or fire science.
Students who have successfully completed the occupational courses offered by Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute may be awarded up to 29 credits toward their Associate of Applied Science in Fire Science Technology.
