Through a unique collaboration across several community colleges in Maryland, µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College students have access to several degree programs that are not currently offered at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College.

About The Maryland Education Alliance

The Maryland Education Alliance (MEA) creates pathways for students to complete these programs of study. Participating community colleges include Anne Arundel Community College, Carroll Community College, µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College, Chesapeake College, College of Southern Maryland, Harford Community College, and Prince George’s Community College.

µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College students are encouraged to complete the first year of their degree at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College and, during that year, apply for admission into the specific program at another community college. Once admitted, students are enrolled at the community college hosting the program. Health Care Programs

Some health care programs are eligible for in-county tuition under the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) Health Manpower Shortage program. Please inquire at the institution you are planning to attend. This option is only available once you are admitted to a specific program of study. Students are also encouraged to speak with an advisor if they are interested in any of the following programs.

Public Health, µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College

Students complete their Associate of Science in Public Health at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College. However, students are eligible to take courses in public health studies at other community colleges in MEA and transfer those courses seamlessly to µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College to meet degree requirements, increasing flexibility and options for students. Community Colleges who offer public health courses applicable to this program of study are Anne Arundel Community College, Carroll Community College, and Prince George’s Community College.

Massage Therapy, Anne Arundel Community (AACC)

Students complete their first year at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College, completing the pre-healthcare certificate, and then apply to AACC for this competitive admission program. A graduate of the massage therapy program is eligible to take the licensing exam offered by the Maryland Board of Massage Therapy Examiners.
