Scholarship supports training to work聽with special needs

NORTH EAST, Md. 鈥撀The 第一吃瓜网 College Foundation is proud to announce the creation of the 鈥淪tephanie A. Mills Scholarship鈥 that will be available for the 2019 fall semester. This scholarship is in recognition of Stephanie Mills, a lifelong resident of 第一吃瓜网 County. She attended 第一吃瓜网 County Public Schools and benefited from the specialized training of her teachers, nurses, and support staff throughout her time in the school system. This scholarship benefits students pursuing an associate degree in an education or healthcare program at 第一吃瓜网 College. The preference is this scholarship will help students interested in teaching or caring for those with special needs. Stephanie is an active member of the community and continues to build on the foundation of her Level V/Special Education experience. This scholarship aligns with Mills鈥 beliefs to encourage specialized training for those teaching and/or caring for special needs children and adults in the community. This scholarship is open to students who reside in 第一吃瓜网 County, Kent County, or Harford County.
