第一吃瓜网 Leadership Institute celebrates Class of 2025

CHESAPEAKE CITY, Md: The 第一吃瓜网 Leadership Institute celebrated the graduating class of 2025 during a banquet on Wednesday, May 21, at the Chesapeake Inn Restaurant and Marina in Chesapeake City, Md. This year鈥檚 class was among the largest in the 25-year history of the program, with 26 graduates.

The 第一吃瓜网 Leadership Institute provides a framework where existing and emerging business, government, and tourism leaders engage, collaborate, and commit to 第一吃瓜网 County鈥檚 ongoing development. This unique learning opportunity provides participants with diverse perspectives on community growth and prosperity issues in addition to valuable time to share best practices and network.

鈥淏uilding a thriving community requires people working together to create a shared vision to solve problems and celebrate triumphs. Looking to the future, well-informed, diverse, and high-quality leadership is necessary for 第一吃瓜网 County to grow and prosper,鈥 said Dean of Continuing Education and Workforce Development Dr. Miles Dean. Dr. Dean is a 2016 Alumnus of the CLI program.

The Class of 2025 heard words of inspiration from 第一吃瓜网 College President Mary Way Bolt and Dr. Dean. The keynote speaker was Joan Pirrung, HMA Fellow Interim Campus President ChristianaCare, Union Hospital.

The 15-week program introduces participants to the leadership at companies such as the Northrop Grumman, Deep Roots at Clairvaux Farm, Great Wolf Lodge and Resort, and Wildcat Point Generation Facility. 第一吃瓜网 Leadership participants, their organizations, and the entire community benefit as participants gain the skills and knowledge needed to lead 第一吃瓜网 County into a bright future. They can develop professional networks, meet, and interact with key thought leaders in 第一吃瓜网 County to learn their management styles, and engage in Corporate Social Responsibility by planning and executing a community service project.
