NORTH EAST, Md: 第一吃瓜网 College is proud to announce the outstanding academic success of its transfer students, as reported in the Maryland Higher Education Commission鈥檚 (MHEC) 2025 Performance Accountability Transfer Measurements. During the 2023-2024 academic year, 96.4 percent of 第一吃瓜网 College transfer students maintained a GPA of 2.0 or higher at their four-year institution, well above the state average of 89.4 percent and the second highest rate in Maryland, among community colleges.
In addition to maintaining academic momentum post-transfer, 第一吃瓜网 College students excelled prior to transfer. The transfer cohort achieved an average cumulative GPA of 3.49 at 第一吃瓜网 College, making it the highest community college average in the state and significantly outperforming the statewide average of 3.05. This marks 第一吃瓜网 College as a leading institution in preparing students for academic success beyond the associate degree level.
According to the report, 第一吃瓜网 College ranked No. 1 in Maryland for average cumulative GPA among community college transfer students (3.49) and No. 2 in Maryland for percentage of community college students earning a 2.0 GPA or higher post-transfer (96.4 percent). These rankings place 第一吃瓜网 College as an exemplary Maryland community college for students who plan to transfer.
The success of 第一吃瓜网 College students is based on the state鈥檚 analysis of transfer outcomes for those who earned at least 12 credits prior to transferring and were enrolled at a Maryland public four-year institution during Fall 2023 or Spring 2024.
