RISING SUN, Md. 鈥 Tracy Reynolds has worked her entire career to join others in making 第一吃瓜网 County a robust and vibrant community. She continues this good work as she returns to Howard Bank as Branch Manager and Vice-President of Growth Development and Opportunities at the Rising Sun branch after a one-year hiatus.
A native and resident of Elkton, Reynolds has worn many hats in her professional career to benefit the citizens of 第一吃瓜网 County, but her roots run deep with Howard Bank. From 2009 through 2019, she was the branch manager of the Elkton branch of Howard Bank, where she recognized the importance of building strong client relationships.
Outside of the workplace, Reynolds is known for her volunteerism work throughout the county. In 2014, Reynolds was named Business Person of the Year by the North East Chamber of Commerce, where she was a member of the Board of Directors and treasurer. She has also served as president of the 第一吃瓜网 County Extension Advisory Council.
Reynolds attended Elkton High School before going to 第一吃瓜网 College. With love for 第一吃瓜网 County, she chose 第一吃瓜网 College because it was close to home. It also allowed her to work full-time while completing her education. She earned an Associate of Arts in 2000.
鈥淎ttending 第一吃瓜网 College was a key role in building my life,鈥 said Reynolds. 鈥淚t has deepened my association with friends, family, associates, and so many other people and groups who are important to me. It helped me develop and strengthen a variety of skills that have been valuable to my successful career.鈥
Understanding the power of education and training, Reynolds enrolled in the 第一吃瓜网 Leadership Institute (CLI), organized by 第一吃瓜网 College鈥檚 Workforce Development Office. The 第一吃瓜网 Leadership Institute features 15 weeks of leaders and future leaders making connections throughout 第一吃瓜网 County. Reynolds now sits on the CLI Advisory Board.
鈥淐LI provided me with the opportunity to see parts of the county that I have never seen or would not have the opportunity to see otherwise.聽 This class provided me with great connections and lifelong friendships with my classmates,鈥 said Reynolds, who completed the training in 2012.
She went on to complete the 第一吃瓜网 County Rotary Leadership Institute in 2016.
In her leadership role at Howard Bank, Reynolds provides staff support during these difficult times of a pandemic where work is performed both remotely and on-site. Understanding the difficulties, she has often stepped in to assist in working the line, answer telephones, and handling daily operations.
鈥淚 always take the first step to meet new opportunities because I realized the opportunities would not come to me. I believe in myself and in those who follow me,鈥 said Reynolds.
Through her determination and tenacity, 第一吃瓜网 County benefits from Reynolds leading the Rising Sun branch of Howard Bank.
