Annual 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo

ELKTON, Md. – The 21st Annual 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo will be held Thursday, Aug. 10, from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Elkton High School at 110 James Street in Elkton. This event is a collaboration between the µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø County Department of Community Services and µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College’s Lifelong Learning Department.
The 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo will feature opportunities to meet community resource representatives and vendors and talk to them about Medicare options, healthy eating, financial planning, µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø County history, wellness opportunities, and more. This event is ideal for anyone contemplating starting or changing a fitness or exercise program, as there will be opportunities to try different fitness classes for seniors and learn about additional programs.
The registration fee is $10, which includes lunch provided by Caffé Gelato.
Additional 21st Annual 55+ Healthy Lifestyle Expo sponsors include ChristianaCare and APG Federal Credit Union.
To register, call µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College at 410-287-1078, dial option 6, and then provide course number SCX100-24, or register in person at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø College’s Elkton Station, located at 107 Railroad Ave. in Elkton. Registrations are also being accepted at the Healthy Lifestyles Fitness Center at the µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø County Administration Building, 200 Chesapeake Blvd. in Elkton.
